Limnology
Limnology, the study of freshwater lakes, includes a diversity of study areas such as physical, chemical and biological processes. Limnologists study the interaction of these three processes as they influence the health and well-being of lake resources. TERC researchers are also studying how the surrounding watershed and air basin affect water clarity, water quality and aquatic life.
